The Insolvency Act 1986 brought with it a formal repayment proposal that when presented to a debtor can legally ask them to reduce debt.
The payment proposal is known as a IVA can help people who have difficulty in paying off their unsecured loans. Typically those with debts of over 15k have more chance of being rolled on this programme.
Government Approved Debt Solution mentions that the IVA program works in a different way in Scotland. Scotland they have a legislation called Trust Deeds. It may be worth reading about Government debt help if you are debt.

Okay, now I wish I had dental insurance. Had an ugly little visit at the dentist office. This is going to be expensive

September 30, 2009 by kooziesrock

Ok. this was the payoff today. This afternoon I found out the price of years of neglect. I had not been to the dentist for well over five years and I just knew that this was going to create problems for me but, you now it is, it’s the dentist. I detest time in the dentist office. I don’t like going to the dentist. And I’m not the only one. There is a lot of this and this world and probably in the history of the world that just don’t like going to the dentist. But there is probably just as many people that wind up being sorry that they never went to the dentist because I did not want to go to the dentist I did not bother trying to pick up and pay for dental insurance
but rather I just kept putting it off even though I knew I was accumulating a variety of dental problems. I mean, I did brush my teeth on a regular basis and got some strong mouth wash that burns the inside of my mouth after a while and I thought I was really accomplishing something with that regimen but I guess I was just playing games with myself.

How to make money in Japan – Become a dropshipper!

September 21, 2009 by kooziesrock

The dudes over at Frugalista Japan are hosting this month’s Japan Blog Matsuri. The topic is surprise, surprise – being frugal!

>>That means being cheap, by the way.

A must read for anyone going to Japan on a lowly teacher’s budget!

The author from Frugalista Japan shares with us the following ways to survive Japan on a budget:

Shane Sakata at the Nihon Sun fills our bellies up for under $10 including a cup of Sake with her guide on cheap eats. Nice one Shane!

Et-chan at TokyoFoodCast is even cheaper than Shane, and shows us what to eat in Tokyo for less than 400 yen! Blimey, who said living in Japan is expensive?!

Wrightak from The Deep Japan Report has written a thoroughly comprehensive guide on the different point and loyalty card schemes in Japan. A Frugalista Seal of Approval for you sir!

Michael from OneYearTrip, who forgot to include references to the matsuri and disabled comments but we’ll forgive him this time, has written about 10 offbeat and frugal experiences to have while in Tokyo – your trip needn’t focus solely on geisha and temples, you know. Check out the real Tokyo! Thanks Michael!

We also had a last minute entry from Cab over at MadSilence, a collection of useful money saving tips from their own experience in Japan. Thanks!

Sleeptako, while not enjoying onsens, encourages us to check out the frugal clothing store Shimamura – good quality, cheap clothes that even gaijin fit into. Thanks sleepytako!

Leon from China Dropshippers introduces us to a good idea for making a little extra yens while in Japan by frugally starting an online store. Which is exactly what I’ll be doing in a few weeks so stay tuned!

What is the best latex mattressfor your primary bed?

September 17, 2009 by kooziesrock

My partner let me have the netbook laptop the other day and as I was playing around on the internet, I found an unique blog about a talalay latex mattress. It had some informative details about how the mattresses were manufactured which I thought was pretty cool. Basically, a liquidized and foamy rubber latex is poured into a metal molding machine and then the oxygen bubbles are sucked out. Then the latex mattress can be frozen or heated depending on the method of manufacture. Talalay vs. Dunlop latex mattress I guess is the difference. Pretty informative blog posts overall. You can see more info here on the talalay latex mattress

You Can Get Rid of Face Wrinkles

September 13, 2009 by kooziesrock

Most people have no idea that the posture you maintain when you sleep influences the number of wrinkles on your face. These wrinkles typically show up on the cheeks, over a period of time. Those who sleep on their side or stomach the entire night are more prone to wrinkles due to the constant contact of cheek or forehead with the sheet. We blink and screw up our eyes very often, causing wear and tear of the delicate muscles there.

Bed wrinkles may be prevented by the simple method of teaching oneself to lie on one’s back, rather than side. Minimal contact with the sheet will create less wrinkles. A top notch anti wrinkle cream can help you get rid of the sleep wrinkles and other wrinkles you currently have.

Car insurance for convertibles

September 8, 2009 by kooziesrock

Rating methods for autos are not the same, so the convertible sports car can be more money than a hard top sports automobile with some insurance providers, but perhaps not all of them.

Those who own a convertible will have responsibility and Coverages physical damage collision and comprehensive. The possibility of physical damage Coverages several times more expensive to make compared to a sports car with a solid model of the same car for several reasons, such as easier to steal or destroy and can cause harm. So, naturally, convertible insurance most likely will be more expensive.

For some examples of generally convertible Ford Mustang convertible will cost about $ 200 more per year to insure than a flat roof. It is because of theft, as already mentioned. Many convertibles pay high loss rates, such as the Chevrolet Corvette convertible.

Sports cars generally higher insurance rates because of the nature of the car, the higher cost of repair if damaged, etc. convertible particular can be difficult to find spare parts and other costs to repair the hard top model of the same vehicle.

If you are interested in buying a sports car, either as a convertible or hard top, and you want to compare insurance rates on each, so comparison shop the rates here for each vehicle.

Long-Lasting Yeast Contamination

September 2, 2009 by kooziesrock

Medically, chronic yeast contamination is called Chronic Candidiasis. A yeast contamination usually comes up when there is an overgrowth of Candida Albicans. A chronic yeast infection is one that will not disappear as hoped-for and will go on recurring. It happens on account of several elements for instance taking oral contraceptives, unreasonable consumption of antibiotics, eating too many carbohydrates and diets plentiful in yeast. Observe that any of these causes brings down the natural occurring bacteria found in moist areas of the body, hence producing the ultimate breeding environment of fungus Candida Albicans.

You will know you have a continuing yeast contagion if you have a yeast infection that occurs more than 3 times in a span of a year. It just isn’t natural to have many yeast contaminations in one year. Yeast contamination affects many areas of the body. You will also notice it is time to get worried when the typical itching gets very sharp, especially in the vaginal and penile zones – if it turns out to be vaginal yeast contagion. A very intense burning sensation and a highly painful feeling when passing urine will also be a symptom of a chronic yeast infection. The discharge one will experience will be very compact, whitish in color and inodorous in a long-lasting yeast infection.

Further, those suffering from gastrointestinal yeast contagions will feel intense heartburns, constipation, inflation, diarrhea and respiratory allergies followed by normal wheezing and sneezing. Women will experience abnormal irregular menstrual cycles, besides other symptoms such as anxiety, memory loss, and poor concentration . All these and numerous others are the warnings and symptoms linked to the aftermath of continuing yeast contagion on the body’s nervous system. The fact that a yeast contamination has came back means it’s a problem that should not be taken lightly and should be looked at and treated with the appropriate attention it merits.

Crazy Cabinets for every Kitchens

August 23, 2009 by kooziesrock

Please pardon this information I really want to have a record ofthis stuff about cabinets. Norma is forcing me to buy new kitchen cabinets.

We have been considering classic kitchen cabinets since December but now we have the funds to finally get them.

My wife has recommended a few different outlets that sell new and in the shape we want. My favorite websites that my kitchen planner has recommended is crazy kitchen cabinets.

So far everything we’ve looked at has either been out of our budget, but they have a variety of manufacturers to choose from. I think we’ll probably buy in the next year.
